Countdown to Liverpool’s One
Phase one of the new Liverpool One development is due to be unveiled in May with a series of special events, including what is claimed to be the world’s biggest catwalk parade, being held to mark the occasion.
The 42-acre development will feature more than 160 shops, bars and restaurants, including a flagship John Lewis store, two new Hilton and Novotel hotels, a 14-screen Odeon cinema and a five-acre park.

Built at a cost of one billion pound, it will link Liverpool’s shopping quarter with the historic Royal Albert Dock. Phase one of the project will see the opening of the development’s retail spaces; however, the grand opening will take place in September, which is when the cinema, park, hotels, bars and restaurants will also be unveiled.
